  1. Number 1: The image refers to a Ugandan boy guarded by a missionary. This image moved me because social disparities are still relevant in the world. While there is a small share of the world's wealthy population, on the other hand, there are a considerable number of people in conditions of extreme poverty, as in Africa.

Number 7: The image refers to his mother's reunion, after serving for seven months in Iraq, with her daughter. This image moved me because the situation of civil war in Iraq is constant. During this time, the woman could have lost her life because. This meeting might not have happened, but fortunately, it happened.

    1. Great job! Use the verb "touch" instead of "move", so say "it touched me" or "it touches me".

  2. Number 15(Really hard choice, by the way) because it's a great example of how kindness and heroism can appear even in the worst situations.

  3. Number 10 really touches me because I really love dogs. Dogs are the more loyal friends that a human could have, you know? The others images are really painful and meaning, but I couldn't choose one cause they all talk about so many things that we have to talk about. So, yeah, the Dog one - a real and loyal friend, who stands by his owner side even though he was gone.

    1. Yes, dogs are the most loyal friends!Instead of meaning, use meaningful, in the sentence "[...] are really painful and meaningful".
      Nice choice! ;)

  5. Number 02: When I saw this photo, I thought "How many people died in Vietnam war?" The Vietnam war was long and bloody and as any other wars, took away more then 2 millions lives, inclued children. For me, this image represent the terror of the war, a symbol of the human capacity for atrocity.

  6. It's really difficult to choose just one or two photos, almost all of them touched me somehow.

Number 13. Shows an unborn baby in the uterus of his mother grabbing the hand of the surgeon. This image gives me hope. It seems like the baby is holding his own life and won't let it go.

Number 27. The photography depicts the funeral of a dog that saved lives by detecting bombs during Mumbai serial blasts. The pictures shows me that not just humans can be heroes, even an animal considered irrational can save a thousand of lives.

  7. Number 3

I chose this photo because it caused me much commotion and revolt at the same time. The second world war caused the deaths of millions of innocent people. Women, men, young people, children have been killed in so many cruel ways. It is sad to see that human beings can be capable of doing such acts.

  8. They all touched me, but these are special in my eyes:

Photo 4: I believe that one of the most beautiful and pure feelings is gratitude. And when I see this boy crying while playing the violin, I can see how grateful he's for the teacher who saved him from a world of marginality and destruction.

Photo 5: This photo confirms the phrase: "Money doesn't buy happiness.". We have to enjoy every moment of happiness that is offered to us, even the simplest.

Photos 7, 8, 24 and 29: These photos touched me because when you found someone that you were not sure you could see again, or in the case you never met (the girl who did not know the Russian father) brings a feeling of fullness that few have the pleasure to feel.

Photos 9 and 18: These because I believe that the respect is above of color, race, religion and any type of opinion or choice that we can do. You're free to choose anything, but you must respect the choices of others, be they the tables that yours or different, respect is the basis for any social interaction.

  9. Photo 29: I chose this photo because I have a daughter and I imagined the emotion of this German prisoner when he found his daughter after several years. Certainly it was a incredible moment for both.

  11. Photos 2 and 19, because they show incredibly different sides of the same episode. The second photo is historical and always present in textbooks, and it reminds us of the horror that a war can cause. The nineteenth photo, on the other hand, shows us that there will always be people who fight for the good of others. This photo conveys hope and possibility of better days.

  12. The first one and the 16th, because it shows how ungrateful we can be. Living our superficial lives and complaining about everything, without worrying about the others and the things that they're going through.

Number 3 - On start i look at the picture (i don't read the description) I thought in many films of terror and suspense
that are fictions. It's terrible, horrible, sad although is fiction.
After I read the description and unfortunally remembered Hitller's epoca like the photo. It's terrible, horrible, sad because was real.

Number 4 - This moment should be the best for him. So why this little boy would be cring and with a expression so sad? Because this picture attracted my attention. After i read the description i understood his sadness. And me too would suffer if someone that me helped when i most needed died.

Number 13 - This picture attracted my attention but it's not a positive sensation. I don't know explain.

  17. It was very difficult choose one picture because all of them are very striking, but i chose the pictures numbers 4, 7 and 28.

photo 4: This picture show us a very beautiful feeling: gratitude. Although the boy were sad for the death of teacher, this cry represents a cry of a boy that was there for someone that changed your life and this is the most beautiful

photo 7:I'm mother e I can't imagine stay far from my daughter. In this case, the mother wasn't just far but in a war. The missing, the pain, the fear of someone arrived from war the joy to see the daugther, the relief to come back, they all are feelings that this photo has

Photo 28: I love the space, I love watch series about it, know about it, it's one of the most awesome things to me and see this picture makes me think how we are a small part of a big Universe

The photos show people outsourcing feelings. But I chose to comment on photos 8 and 9 because they show that people, in the case in the role of soldiers, can give up the things they love the most for ideals. The first picture chosen shows a soldier going to war, and the second shows a soldier coming to the war. What struck me most was the fact that, even with the horrors that the war provides, a simple demonstration of affection continues to be able to make them smile and hope that better days will come.

I chose the first photo, because it makes us think about social inequalities in the world, in this case the hunger in Africa. Although the food production is enough to feed everyone, many Africans die of hunger. Unfortunately, the great reason for that is the lack of serious public policies and cruel capitalism.

I chose the photo number 9. This photo shows a group of christians protecting muslims during a prayer. I loved this photo because it reminds me good and tolerant people still exist. Among all those photos, this one touched a hope feeling in me

I chose the photo number one, one reasons is because it is a serious social problem that happens daily. In our society, everyday thousands of pounds of food are wasted, so is unacceptable that there are still hungry people, this don't happens only Africa, but in Brasil too. The another reasons, is because I have a willingness to job in the Africa, so this kind of photo thouche me.

  22. I chose the picture 10 because I think the relationship between an animal and its owner is very beautiful. This picture shows us Leao, a dog that remained beside her owner even in this situation. It's incredible how dogs are able to give us back all love, protection, attention and care we give them.
